We got some cool new filaments in the past week at the makerspace. We received a reel of black Ninjaflex which is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and some samples of softPLA. The Robotics at Anchorage MakerSpace (RAMS) design team, under the stalwart guidance of RAMS Director Dustin Mendoza, gathered up three VEX Robotics Competition awards. AMS held a special event on Saturday, March 1st, 2014 to honor Dustin and his teams, and to praise the students for their achievements and their parents for their continuing support.
