Makercamp Day 1 – Stomp Rocket Launchers

Day 1 of the Anchorage Makerspace Makercamp is in the books.  We welcomed a class of kids eager to have some fun and learn a few things.  Today’s project was to build Stomp Rocket Launchers and Foam Rockets.  This batch of kids did a GREAT job and had a ton of fun.

 

Included with this post is a selection of photos and a couple videos from this class. The next camp will be tomorrow, Thursday, July 10, 2014.  It may be full but there are still spaces available in the various sessions.  There are different projects each of the days so have no fear of attending multiple classes.  Look on the events page to see available dates in July and August.
