MAKERCAMP DAY 4 – SHOEBOX PROJECTORS & PRINTER TEAR APART

  • Sean Tyree

  • July 18, 2014

Today was day 4 of the Makercamp here at the Anchorage Makerspace.  The kids had a blast today working on a couple of projects.

First, they tore apart a variety of printers.  The circuit boards and motors were highly sought after by all!

Next we built shoe box movie projectors.  They allow you to make a movie projector using a shoe box, a magnifying glass lens and an I phone.  We learned that a longer shoe box is more forgiving in finding the correct focus point.

Next stop – Week 3!
